Are you cutting in New York City? No, not cutting in line at Starbucks or in front of pedestrians to make the next subway. National Cutting Horse Association.

Bella Hadid galloped into the spotlight Thursday night during New York Fashion Week by giving a live cutting demonstration at the Kemo Sabe pop-up. This eye-catching activation celebrated Adan Banuelos, National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Famer, and his short film series premiere with Teton Ridge, "Window to the West."

While this spectacle is breaking boundaries and maybe city permits, it also mirrors the recent resurgence of Western wear in fashion. Western flair has been visible in high-fashion brands like Ralph Lauren since the late 1970s. As the trend has ebbed and flowed throughout the decades, it is now making its mark in mainstream fast fashion. Brands such as Zara, Old Navy, and Mango carry an array of colored cowboy boots, denim shirts, and rodeo buckle belts.

Is Western wear here to stay, and does it get the "so cool" stamp of approval? Denim, leather, suede, and statement cowboy boots are essential in any stylish wardrobe, so slip on your boots and step into the trend!

Below is a curated list of the coolest Western wear pieces!
